Carmen Torres is an energetic fitness professional, skilled in several movement platforms, with a cheerful personality and a proven record of successful project outcomes. Her diverse work profile includes fitness management, team leadership, community outreach, and social media savvy. She has significant experience working with seniors and people with Parkinson’s Disease, teaching functional movement and fall prevention. Her deep commitment to helping people improve their quality of life through fitness is shown through her dedication and passion for her clients. She is certified in Rock Steady Boxing, PARTE (Parkinson’s Art of Expression), Personal Training, Silver Sneakers Classic, Yoga and Tai Chi, Les Mills Body Flow and Body Combat, Zumba, Pound and is a 10th planet Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt. She has been a competitive professional ballroom dancer and teacher and holds many awards for her work in ballroom dancing. She holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Theater and Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Florida and holds a master’s degree in Film making and acting. She was voted Best Personal Trainer by Decatur Daily for three consecutive years.
